Jazz Roots: SoundCheck Workshop at Arthur & Polly Mays Conservatory of the Arts

Miami, FL – October 19, 2021 – The Adrienne Arsht Center recently expanded their in-person arts education outreach to students at the Arthur & Polly Mays Conservatory of the Arts on October 19, with a performance by local jazz artist Zach Bartholomew and his trio.
The workshop is part of the Center’s Jazz Roots: SoundCheck program, which gives high school band students the opportunity to interact with and learn from professionals. Bartholomew and his trio performed for and hosted a Q&A session with the students, and also invited some students onstage for a jam session.
