Death fall girl 'sexually abused'
'I will get justice' says mother of six-year-old
(ANSA) - Naples, October 15 - A six-year-old girl who fell to her death from a sixth-floor balcony near Naples in June had been sexually abused, an autopsy said Wednesday.
The girl's mother vowed to get justice for her daughter or seek redress on her own.
An autopsy on Fortuna Loffredo, who died on June 24 in Caivano, about 14 km northeast of Naples, showed that she had been abused in the months before her death.
"The monster lives in our building, it's impossible that no one saw anything," said her mother, Domenica Guardato.
"I call on anyone who knows to speak out. I want justice, and if they won't give it to me I will get it on my own".
Investigators had ordered the autopsy because of what they called suspicious elements in the case. They are currently interviewing the victim's school friends in an effort to root out a possible pedophile ring. -
