Going for gold... in kissing! Gemma Collins and Arg get amorous at TOWIE's Olympic-themed party

With the Olympics less than a week away, the competitive spirit is everywhere.
And that fact was more than obvious as the TOWIE stars congregated in an Essex park yesterday to film an Olympic-themed party.
It seemed that the show's new favourite couple, Gemma Collins and James 'Arg' Argent were aiming for a gold medal in kissing, judging by their very amorous displays.

Steady on! Arg looked delighted by the attention he was receiving from his girlfriend, and put his hand on her derriere as she climbed on top of him to improve her angle of kissing
The pair, whose relationship has been going from strength to strength over the past few months, struggled to keep their affection in check as they kissed and cuddled in front of their TOWIE castmates.
Gemma, who was wearing a printed dress for the occasion, even climbed on top of her boyfriend at one point to get a better angle to kiss him.
And Arg certainly didn't mind the attention from Gemma, grinning with delight as he got to grips with his curvy girl.

But as much as Gemma and Arg were going for gold with their PDAs, they had some stiff competition from Sam Faiers and Joey Essex.
Clearly keen to show that they are as much in love as Gemma and Arg, Sam and Joey put on an equally passionate display.
Sam, who looked cute in a white tennis skirt and pink zip-up jacket, was seen sitting astride her boyfriend, showering him with kisses.

And Joey certainly didn't appear to mind, giving as good as he got as he kept a tight grip on his blonde girlfriend.
Jessica Wright and Ricky Rayment also cuddled up during the filming of the Olympics party, although their less than passionate PDAs made them appear as though they were simply going for bronze rather than aiming any higher.
The couple cuddled up in the hay bales in a scene which appeared to have come straight from the pages of a romantic novel.
