A pregnant 16-year-old and her unborn baby were killed today in a deadly wreck in the Bronx.
Daniela Abreu was a rear-seat passenger in a Chrysler 300 that was driving on the Major Deegan Expressway.
Driver Eduardo Nunez, 30, lost control near the Cross Bronx Expressway interchange at 12.15 am, after zooming down the highway and dangerously switching lanes.

The car jumped a guardrail and crashed into a concrete pillar.
All five occupants were caught in the vehicle and had to be removed by firefighters.

English Aviles, classmate of Abreu’s at George Washington HS, was quoted in the New York Post as saying, ‘She was a real good kid. Everyone loved her. She shouldn’t have gotten into that car.'

Mr Nunez was pronounced dead at the scene, as was passenger Joze Henriquez, 22.
Raymond Batista, 21, was pulled from the carnage with severe head trauma and is fighting for his life, according to police.
Garcia Abel, 18, who was seated behind Mr Nunez is in a critical but stable condition.
Traffic on the highway was blocked for several hours while police investigated the crash. The cause is still unknown.
