Up until now, Paulina Gretzky was most famous for being the daughter of Canadian ice hockey royalty, Wayne Gretzky.
But the 22-year-old blonde has inadvertently shot to fame since apparently attempting to curb her public image by deleting her Twitter account over the weekend.
LA-born Paulina disappointed her 24,000 Twitter fans by putting an end to the near-constant stream of tweeted photos of herself in various states of undress.

The eldest of five suggested that her father, the 'Great One,' may have had a hand to play in the account closure, reportedly tweeting: 'Having a nice sit down dinner with my dad about social media..haha'
She reportedly went on to announce: 'Taking a break from Twitter for a bit. Happy Holidays!!! xoxo.'
Though no longer available on the micro-blogging site, the racy photos of the model and pop singer have since gone viral, with many a fan berating the hockey player for stepping in.
Many of the photos are taken on nights out with friends in mini-skirts, cleavage-bearing tops and revealing dresses. Others are of the stunning model lounging next to the pool in a bikini, or suggestively lying on a bed in little more than underwear.

More pictures on the model's MySpace account show her in similarly suggestive poses.
Her father, 50, is one of the most famous Canadians of all time, having led the Edmonton Oilers to prodigious Stanley Cup success in the Eighties.
His involvement in his daughter's tweeting habits may have been a carefully judged play of personal brand management.

The New York Daily News speculates that the Twitter deletion may be linked to rumours - denied by Wayne's agent - that an American group may be interested in buying the Toronto Maple Leafs ice hockey team.
Disappointed as they may be, @paulinagretzky fans are likely to see a lot more of the Hall of Fame's daughter in the future - due, in no small part, to her dad's apparent social media pep talk.
