| Shot to the head killed Gaddafi, autopsy reveals Muammar Gaddafi was killed by a gunshot to the head, an official post mortem confirmed yesterday as the UK Government warned his death had “stained” the reputation of the country’s new Government. An autopsy carried out on his body found bullets lodged in both his abdomen and skull.
